About
I'm Prima Putra, a software engineer based in Indonesia with more than a decade of shipping software that has to work when no one is watching. My range is unusually wide on purpose: I move between full-stack web, embedded firmware, and computer vision because the hardest problems rarely respect a single layer of the stack.
Over the years that has meant architecting multi-tenant SaaS platforms in Laravel and React, designing low-power ESP32 sensor meshes in C++, and deploying OpenCV inspection pipelines on the factory floor. The throughline is the same everywhere: understand the constraint, design for the failure case, and ship something a team can actually operate.
I work best with small engineering teams that value clear thinking over churn. If that sounds like your project, I'd like to hear about it.
Lead with the problem
I start from the failure mode and the constraint, not the framework. The right architecture falls out of the problem stated honestly.
Build for the bad day
Retries, outages, half-drained batteries, bad lighting. Systems earn trust by behaving well when conditions don’t.
Leave teams stronger
I document decisions, hand off cleanly, and build tools the team can operate without me in the room.
